It’s been an incredible decline for Adrian Peterson as the Minnesota Vikings running back has been accused of everything from child abuse to using his charities as fronts for sexual debauchery and rape.
Adrian Peterson will be appearing in court on Wednesday to contest child abuse charges that are being brought against him in Texas.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Adrian Peterson will plead not guilty to child abuse chargers when he appears in court tomorrow.

Peterson was pristine before all of this, but this period of his career will come to define his legacy. Should he be found guilty of anything he stands accused of, it would cripple his career and utterly destroy everything he has ever done.
Football is the last thing we should be concerning ourselves with when it comes to Peterson. The reports about his charity being a front for atrocious things is another matter that needs to be dealt with.
But all of a sudden, the best running back in football has a pile of legal matters to deal with and they seem to just keep coming. No one wishes ill-will on Peterson, but it seems he’s bringing this all on himself in one of the most shocking downfalls we’ve ever seen in the NFL.
