Dodgers vs Cardinals live stream information

The Los Angeles Dodgers will take the field with their season on the line Tuesday afternoon against the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLDS. St. Louis has a chance to clinch a 3-1 series victory thanks to a late home run from Kolten Wong on Monday night in their 3-1 victory over the Dodgers and their hapless bullpen.

The Dodgers will be the first team in this year’s postseason to send a stud to the mound on short rest. Presumed Cy Young winner and possible MVP candidate Clayton Kershaw will take the ball on short rest as he tries to salvage the Dodgers’ season. He will try to deliver more success in his second postseason start than he did in his first.

“For us it’s a matter of winning one game with Clayton Kershaw on the mound. We feel pretty good about that,” said manager Don Mattingly of the decision to start Kershaw on short rest, via MLB.com. “And we’ll move forward. It will be a fairly quick turnaround with a [2 p.m. PT] start tomorrow. So we can’t sit around and do any complaining. We’ve got to be ready to go.”

The Cardinals will send young right-handed pitcher Shelby Miller to the mound opposite Kershaw for the Dodgers.
