Pierre Garcon decided that pulling Richard Sherman’s dreadlocks was a bright idea. Richard Sherman disagrees.
The Washington Redskins were unable to defeat the Seattle Seahawks, and ended up losing by a final score of 27-17. Richard Sherman and Pierre Garcon got into it a little bit during the game, when Garcon grabbed and pulled on Sherman’s hair. Sherman decided to open his mouth once again, and had plenty to say about what he thought of Garcon. Garcon came back with a reply himself, and had some harsh remarks to throw back in Sherman’s directions.

Here were Sherman’s original comments about Garcon that started this entire situation.
“Pierre did a few things. When you can’t get open, you got to do whatever you can. The crowd is acting like I’m holding him. Obviously the TV copy you can see what happened. Pierre doesn’t matter in this league.”
“Silence, is the best reply to a fool.”
Quite a few people around the NFL and fans who watch the NFL have begun thinking the same thing of Sherman. He has been extremely outspoken about himself, and it has begun getting on the nerves of people who have to listen to him all the time. There is no doubt that he is a good football player, but being humble and working hard quietly are what the truly great players in the league do.
At this point in time, Sherman hasn’t even proven himself to be the best cornerback in the NFL. He has made some big plays and come up with good statistics, but most NFL cornerbacks don’t view Sherman as the best corner in the league. The only person that has been outspoken about Sherman being the best cornerback in the NFL, is Sherman himself.
Garcon’s response is the perfect response for an arrogant player like Sherman. He simply stated the facts, and Sherman was being a major fool by saying the things that he did. Hopefully at some point in time, Sherman will learn how to shut his mouth and let his play do the talking. Until then, he will be the most annoying player in the NFL and his reputation will continue to plummet.
