Despite reports suggesting Allen signed with Cleveland on Tuesday, the sharpshooter remains undecided about his future, according to multiple sources.
I asked a source close to the situation if Ray Allen has decided to sign with the Cavaliers, as has been reported. Source responded: "NO."

Reports of Ray Allen having signed with Cavs are not true, per league source.

Still, don’t at all be surprised if Allen ends up in Cleveland with LeBron James and Co.
It's still possible that Ray Allen will sign with CLE at some point, but the source (who's very close to the situation) says no decision yet

Cleveland makes the most sense as a possible landing spot for Allen. He is known to be great friends with James from their time playing together as members of the Miami Heat and obviously Allen, at 39, will want to play for a contender, which the Cavs are.
Allen, a two-time NBA champion, is the league’s most prolific three-point shooter of all time. He would be a solid fit for Cleveland as an effective outside shooter coming off the bench.
Allen averaged 9.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game this past season with the Heat.
