TNT will deploy Greg Anthony, Grant Hill and Chris Webber to fill the analyst’s hole left when Steve Kerr left to coach the Golden State Warriors.

According to a report, Turner Sports will cycle Greg Anthony. Grant Hill and Chris Webber as analysts next to play-by-play man Marv Albert for TNT’s NBA broadcasts this season.

Richard Deitsch of SI.com reported that Turner Sports will soon be announcing the three-man rotation to replace Steve Kerr, who had the network’s top analyst spot for four years before leaving to become head coach of the Golden State Warriors.

"“We have a really deep talent roster and we plan to big into it and use everybody,” Turner Sports senior vice president Craig Barry said. “We are in a unique position to be able to work through a rotation with A-grade talent. We are looking at it from a perspective that each guy brings something to the table.”"

The network will continue to pair Reggie Miller with Kevin Harlan on their second team, but Miller could also work with Albert on occasion. Additionally, Inside the NBA co-host Charles Barkley will call some games with both Albert and Harlan.

Hill is new, Anthony is OK, but Webber is the guy I’d like to see get the gig on a more permanent basis. But Barry said this season shouldn’t be considered a tryout or a competition for a permanent job in 2015-16.

"“In the past we had Doug Collins and Steve and they were earmarked for that role,” Barry said. “Now if three months into the season we feel like there is great chemistry forming with one team or something comes to the surface, we will definitely look at it.“But we also will leave the door open for players and coaches next year that might want an opportunity. It keeps us in a place for options, but we are not starving for analysts.’"

Now if they could just move Miller off the air, NBA viewing on Turner Sports would be just that much more enjoyable.
