Back at Night of Champions, Chris Jericho ended his most recent WWE run when he was defeated cleanly in a match with fellow veteran Randy Orton. With his band, Fozzy, getting ready to go on tour, we all knew that Jericho would once again be leaving the company for a stint.
Well, generally when Jericho picks up and leaves, he’s gone for a rather extended period of time. But recent reports have indicated that he might not be gone all that long this time, and he could even be returning before the year is over.
Now, we have confirmation from Jericho himself that he will be back next month.

This is great news for the fans of Jericho’s work in the ring, and quite the nice surprise not to have him gone for so long this time.
But you have to imagine that with his in-ring career coming to an end as his age creeps up on him, he wants to get in all of the WWE work that he possibly can, so we could see quicker returns more often until he’s ready to hang up the boots for good.
