When it comes to the normal beer and champagne festivities of these occasions, there is one player who has risen above the rest when it comes to his post-game celebrations game. That would be ace pitcher Madison Bumgarner.
Bumgarner went above and beyond after the Giants beat the Pirates in the Wild Card round, chugging four beers at once in the midst of the locker room chaos. By doing that, Bumgarner set the bar pretty high for himself in terms of future celebrations.
With his team having clinched a spot in the NLCS, Bumgarner stepped his game up accordingly. He added another beer, chugging five beers at once. If you don’t believe it, count the beers for yourself.
The Giants don’t just find a way to win in October. They find a way to outdo their opponents in the postgame festivities as well, with Madison Bumgarner leading the way.
