After the New England Patriots were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs 41-14, several reports about quarterback Tom Brady’s unhappiness with the organization began to emerge. Tom Brady reportedly isn’t happy with the direction of the offense personnel-wise and there is a chance
he could wind up with a different team sooner rather than later
.
Patriots’ offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels doesn’t think that report holds much merit, telling reporters he and Tom Brady are having “a lot of fun.”
“I’m not necessarily aware to what you’re referring to. Whatever reports are, they are what they are. You’d have to ask the people that reported that,” McDaniels said via Mark Daniels of The Providence Journal. “I know that it’s exciting for us to come to work together. And I look forward to working each week with the staff and the players and trying to put together the best plan that we can. I think we have a lot of fun doing that.”
Josh McDaniels also believes the two have become closer than ever because of all of the time they spend together.
“Things naturally, you get closer as you go and you experience more and know more about the other person, the things they do and like and a lot of things that don’t even involve football as well,” McDaniels said. “I’ve been fortunate to have this experience in my life. It’s certainly something I look forward to each day.”
The talk around Tom Brady has died down lately. That probably has something to do with the Patriots’ 43-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday night.
