Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans

After an 0-2 start the Colts have rebounded and are now looking like the division favorites that everyone had them pegged as before the season started. Andrew Luck is having the best year of his young career and is at the helm of the NFL’s most prolific passing attack. Meanwhile, for the Texans JJ Watt is having an equally great season on the defensive side of the ball. This should finally be a close Thursday night game after a string of blowouts. With Indy missing a couple of interior offensive linemen they could have trouble containing Watt. Still, with a close game on the line I’m going to take Andrew Luck to pull out the win over Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns

I find the Steelers harder to predict than about any other team in the NFL. On paper, I feel like Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, and Le’Veon Bell should be enough to outscore Brian Hoyer, Jordan Cameron, and Ben Tate, especially since the Browns have struggled on defense so far this season. However, the Steelers have been so up and down. Even in the season opener against Cleveland they looked fantastic to start the game and then almost let the Browns come back and steal it late. So long story short, I’m picking the Steelers, but I wouldn’t bet any money on it.
