Baltimore Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Baltimore Ravens at Raymond James Stadium after three straight weeks on the road. Mike Glennon and the Bucs will attempt to bounce back after a heartbreaking overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints last week. Joe Flacco and the Ravens are also coming off a loss, a 20-13 defeat at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts.

Keys to Victory

The Ravens’ defense has been pretty stout this year, allowing an average of only 16 points per game. It’s the inconsistent offense that has decided their fate. In their two losses, the Ravens scored 16 and 13 points. In their wins, they averaged 29 points per game. If they score, they’ll win. The Buccaneers’ only win came when Glennon threw for 302 yards. If Glennon can move the ball successfully, Tampa Bay might have a chance. A lot of that could depend on WR Mike Evans, who has been banged up so far (and relatively ineffective) this year.

Prediction

The Ravens defense shouldn’t have much of a problem shutting down a rather mediocre Bucs offense. On the flip side, Flacco and company should be able to score with relative ease against Tampa Bay, whose defense is the second worst in the NFL in both yards and points allowed.

Final Score: Ravens: 27, Buccaneers: 18
