Former Michigan players are banding together to show their support of the current members of the program

The Michigan Wolverines football program is not in the best place right now. They’re not performing up to the standards on the field that has been set by teams of the past and the recent controversy surrounding quarterback Shane Morris and head coach Brady Hoke has captivated college football headlines in a negative light.

Still, that apparently is not stopping former Michigan players from showing this team that they have their backs.

On Thursday former Michigan Heisman winner and current ESPN analyst Desmond Howard explained that a group of former players will be with the team this weekend for their match up against Penn State to show their support.

This is a fantastic gesture from a group of players who want to continue to show their pride in the Michigan program, no matter how bad things have gotten as of late.
