With college basketball season sneaking up on us as we head deeper into October, that means teams rolling out new uniform combinations and alternate uniforms. Phil Hecken of uni-watch.com tweeted out the picture of the new black alternate jerseys the Hoyas will don this year and you can take a look for yourself in the picture here.
It hasn’t yet been released exactly when the Hoyas will first wear the new jerseys in game action but some have speculated that they may go ahead and wear them for the scrimmage that is included in the Hoya Madness event.
Other teams around the country from Kansas to Louisville have been releasing pictures of new uniforms and there are certainly more to come that we have yet to see as of course Nike always has a few tricks up their designing sleeves.
The Georgetown Hoyas hoops team will open up their season on November 15th against St. Francis. They also play the Florida Gators on November 26th and against the Kansas Jayhawks on December 10th at home. That game against Kansas that will be on the Hoyas home court could be the game we see the black unis as it may be the biggest game on their schedule this season.
