Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace is on top of the world right now. After leading his team to a victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide last weekend in maybe the biggest victory in school history, he’s now one of the more well-known players in sports, just as anyone who plays a big part in putting the Tide in the loss column.

Well, with new found notoriety generally comes the folks on the internet playing around with their keyboards and starting some nasty rumors, like they did with Wallace on Thursday.

Just a little while ago there was a nasty rumor spreading that Bo Wallace may have been arrested on Wednesday night. For what? Well, that wasn’t really properly proclaimed, but the internet swore that Wallace was thrown in cuffs and hauled off to the clink.

The rumor was catching some eyes–well, until Wallace himself told them all to stop it.

Dr. Bo doesn’t want his character taking a hit from the nasty internet trolls, so he put the brakes to it immediately. You know, just like he did to the Alabama defense in the waning moments of the Rebels’ 23-17 win last Saturday afternoon in Oxford. Wallace was even appalled at the fact that he had to even go that far, tweeting himself getting ready to prepare for Texas A&M, rather than being in a jail cell, like many tried to say he was.

The life of a successful Ole Miss QB is a hard-knock one, man.
