This past Monday night The Rock made a surprise appearance on WWE RAW in Brooklyn, much to the delight of wrestling fans all across the world. He confronted the monster Russian Rusev in one of the more entertaining segments of the evening.
Since that appearance, a lot of talk has started in regards to The Rock wrestling another match at WrestleMania 31. As of right now, the two rumors that we’re hearing the most are he facing off against either Triple H or Rusev, a program which could have gotten off to a subtle start this past Monday night with their in-ring segment together.
But, the ‘Great One’ recently shot down those rumors when he was caught recently by TMZ cameras in New York City.
In the video below, right at the end, the interviewer gets in a question about whether or not we could see The Rock in the ring inside Levi’s Stadium next March, and he certainly doesn’t seem to think that will be the case.
Of course, there is a chance that this could just be a diversion and The Rock would like to keep his eventual involvement with WrestleMania and WWE again a secret. Having something confirmed right now would hurt any sort of creative plans in the future.
Nonetheless, for the time being, this is the answer that one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling is giving in regards to a potential match at WrestleMania 31–for now.
