Percy Harvin misses practice on Thursday
Three things remain constant in life: Death, taxes, and Seattle Seahawks receiver Percy Harvin getting injury. And that occurred on Monday against the Washington Redskins when Harvin found himself victim of a thigh injury.
It looks like things aren’t getting better as the receiver was forced to miss Thursday’s practice because of his injury, per the Seattle Seahawks official website.

With Harvin showing his versatility Sunday — despite having three touchdowns called back — it’s easy to see how his absence could affect the Seahawks offense. While Harvin’s numbers have been pedestrian at best (133 receiving yards, 93 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown), his presence greatly affects what the defense is able to do against the Russell Wilson-led offense.
Fortunately for Seattle, the Dallas Cowboys will be opposite of them come Sunday night. While the Cowboys have blown out any defensive expectations placed upon them coming into the season, this group is still lacking, especially through the air as the Cowboys passing defense is currently ranked 23rd in the NFL, giving up 248 passing yards per game.
It has yet to be said how serious Harvin’s injury is, but if head coach Pete Carroll is thinking ahead, he’ll likely go into Sunday with a light load in comparison to what he’d usually be asked to do on a nightly basis.
