ALCS Game 2: Adam Jones blasts two-run home run (GIF)

Adam Jones came through in a big spot for the Baltimore Orioles as he blasted a two-run home run off Kansas City Royals’ starter Yordano Ventura in Game 2 of the ALCS.
The Baltimore Orioles were the mightiest home-run hitting team in the big leagues during the regular season. On Saturday afternoon, they finally got their first home run of the ALCS.

Faced with the task of trying to mount a comeback thanks to some early runs from the Kansas City Royals, the Orioles got a shot in the arm from Adam Jones. The star center fielder delivered a two-run home run to tie the game up at 3-3, much to the delight of the home crowd in Baltimore.
Hard-throwing youngster Yordano Ventura was excellent in the early innings against the Orioles. He made a mistake to Jones here, however, getting way too much of the plate with a fastball and paying the price as this shot from Jones left the yard in a hurry.

As they fight to get a split at home in the ALCS before heading to Kansas City, the Orioles got a clutch hit from their star player. They will hope that this is not the last clutch home run they get in their home park on Saturday.
