There was a frightening moment on Saturday night as the Florida Gators took on the LSU Tigers. Wide receiver Latroy Pittman took a devastating blow to the head and had to be carted off the field.

It was a case where things moved so quickly that Pittman’s head just ended up in a bad spot as two defenders hit him at once. There does not appear to be any malice intended. Pittman just had his head ducked down in a bad spot as he took this blow from the two defenders.

As Pittman was carted off the field, he gave the crowd a thumbs up.
It was a scary visual at first as far as the way Pittman went down, but as he was attended to and taken off the field there were signs of hope. Here’s hoping that the injury is nothing too serious and that Pittman will be OK. More information will be provided on Pittman’s status as the team releases it.
