Giants vs Cardinals live stream information

The San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals have both been here before. That makes for a fascinating story-line as these teams square off in the NLCS to determine who will represent the National League in this year’s World Series.

For the fifth straight season, it will be either the Giants or the Cardinals in the World Series for the National League. For all of the hype about the Los Angeles Dodgers, and for how formidable the Washington Nationals looked down the stretch, it all circled back to the two teams that have consistently gotten it done in the playoffs for the last number of seasons.

These two teams played in the NLCS in 2012, with the Giants prevailing before going on to win the World Series. “We don’t forget that day, finishing that game in the rain and watching them celebrate on their field in San Francisco,” manager Mike Matheny said about that series, via the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Adam Wainwright will start opposite Madison Bumgarner in a battle of aces in Game 1 of this series.
