TCU is not afraid of any hostile environment and they proved that tonight against the Baylor Bears. TCU was on the road and they were aware that going into Baylor and playing the 5th ranked Bears wasn’t going to be easy.

TCU has set an NCAA record, by scoring the most points on the road against an AP top 5 team in NCAA history. They set the record by scoring 57 points and they’ve even surpassed that mark. This impressive performance on the road, against a top tier opponent will certainly put the Horned Frogs at an even higher position in the rankings if they hold on to win.
TCU’s defense wasn’t impressive at all as they allowed over 40 points, but the offense’s ability to put up a massive amount of points, bailed out the defense for the most part today. Sometimes a defense is going to have an off day and when the offense backs you up with a boat load of points, that is a good sign for that team.
The 109 points combined by Baylor and TCU were the most combined points between two AP top 10 teams since 1936. For anyone that picked this game as under on their spread sheets I feel bad for you. But if you picked it over, you’re probably feeling great about yourself right now. Nonetheless, this was a great game between two powerhouse offenses and the result of this game can end up being huge in the final polls at the end of the season.
