Tom Brady had a bad week against the Kansas City Chiefs a few weeks ago, and the trade rumors apparently still won’t go away.
The New England Patriots trading Tom Brady seems like the most insane notion in sports, as it would mark the end of a true era in the NFL. To have both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady on different teams other than the Colts and Patriots would feel wrong — and we’re already halfway there.

It’s not that crazy of a notion though, as Dan Bickley of AZCentral.com suggests that the Arizona Cardinals could aggressively pursue Tom Brady if the team thought they could get him.
"If you know anything General Manager Steve Keim and Head Coach Bruce Arians, you know they’ll be monitoring the situation closely.“There isn’t a player in the NFL I wouldn’t consider,” Keim said. “If it’s somebody who is going to make us better, I’m going to be aggressive.”"
It would take a lot to trade Tom Brady, but there have already been pieces put in place to protect the Patriots against such a move. Jimmy Grappolo isn’t the first quarterback they’ve drafted high to sit behind Brady, as Ryan Mallet was taken for the exact same reason but the team never needed him.
That’s not to suggest the Patriots will trade Brady no matter what, but it’s starting to become something we need to really think about in terms of such a thing coming to fruition.
