Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal will not start the season on time, as the guard will miss ‘significant time’ with a wrist injury.

Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards have been talking plenty of trash lately about the Cleveland Cavaliers, but things have started to go downhill already. While the Cavaliers were in Rio playing the Miami Heat, word came out that Beal will miss what is being defined as a ‘significant’ amount of time with a wrist injury.

According to CSN Washington’s J. Michael, Bradley Beal will miss time with a wrist injury and no one is sure just how long he’s going to be out.

"“We’re still going through the evaluation process,” said Mark Bartelstein, Beal’s agent, to CSN. Beal told teammates, CSN also confirmed Saturday, that he thinks he will miss significant time."

This is bad news for the Wizards, who are hoping to rebound this season from their postseason loss last season with the deepest run the team has been on in years. Washington went out and added Paul Pierce to display how serious they are about winning but this injury sets the team back a bit.

Beal is an important part of the Wizards future and it’s looking like he’s going to need some time to make sure he doesn’t suffer any setbacks that will delay the Wizards from achieving the high marks they have set for themselves.
