Zac Stacy is leading the St. Louis Rams in rushing this season and he is probable to play Monday night when they host the San Francisco 49ers.

Zac Stacy was a full participant at practice Saturday, according to the NFL’s injury report, and is listed as probable for Monday night’s matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

Stacy, in his second year out of Vanderbilt, leads the Rams with 223 yards in four games and has scored a touchdown. He also has 10 receptions for 98 yards.

Stacy was a fifth-round pick out of Vanderbilt last season by the Rams, but burst onto the scene to lead the team with 973 yards and seven touchdowns, playing 14 games and starting 12 of them.

He also had 26 receptions for 141 yards and a score. His eight touchdowns led St. Louis last season.

The Rams, who lost quarterback Sam Bradford to a knee injury in the preseason, are off to a 1-3 start and lost at Philadelphia last week, 34-28.

Backup quarterback Shaun Hill was hurt in the season opener and Austin Davis, an undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss two years ago, has started the last three games for the Rams.

After a 7-9 season in 2013, there were thoughts that the Rams might be a surprise contender in the NFC West this season, but that injuries have wrecked the team in the early going. In addition to Bradford and Hill, St. Louis has played without defensive end Chris Long and running back Isaiah Pead all season.
