This really doesn’t come as much of a surprise since Cincinnati Bengals A.J. Green was listed as questionable with a toe injury and in a walking boot late last week, but he is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
Today's official inactives include WR Calvin Johnson, RB Reggie Bush, WR AJ Green and QB Jake Locker.

There was a report on Thursday that Green wouldn’t be playing against the Panthers, though Bengals coach Marvin Lewis called him “day to day.”
“It’s day to day is what I was told today, which is a good thing,” Lewis said, via the Cincinnati Enquirer. “He’s feeling good. It’s positive.”
That positive report obviously turned out to be overly optimistic. That being said it sounds like Green might have a strong opportunity to return to the line up against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday.
Against the Panthers that makes things a little bit more interesting for the Bengals. Their rush defense is their weakness, and there pass defense is mediocre. Green is a huge weapon to lose and commands attention when on the field so there certainly is less for the Panthers secondary to worry about.
