College Football Rankings: Projected Top 25 Poll after Week 7

For the second week in a row the No. 2 team in the nation lost, so what will that mean for this week’s top 25 poll?

The state of Mississippi remains at the center of the college football world as the Mississippi State Bulldogs remained undefeated with a 38-23 win over the previously undefeated and No. 2 ranked Auburn Tigers in the afternoon and the Ole Miss Rebels picked up a big win on the road in their 35-20 win over the Texas A&M Aggies.

Bryce Petty and the Baylor Bears avoided the upset at the hands of the TCU Horned Frogs with a furious fourth quarter comeback and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Alabama Crimson Tide held on for narrow wins to avoid another weekend with upsets galore in the top 10 of the top 25 poll.
