This weekend will see one of the more anticipated match ups of the college football season as the No. 2 ranked Florida State Seminoles will welcome in the No. 5 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish into Tallahassee. With both teams undefeated and national title hopes still prominent, this game has huge implications on the landscape of college football in 2014.
On Sunday, Las Vegas released the early betting lines for Week 8 in college football, and to the surprise of a lot of people, Florida State should easily cruise to a win against their undefeated opponents, or so says the point spread.

Considering this is a Week 8 match up between two Top 5 teams, that line is a bit surprising.
However, this also goes on to show once again that not many people believe that the Irish have been all that impressive this season, despite their unblemished record. The consensus around the college football world, for the most part, is that the ‘Noles just have too much talent for Notre Dame to keep up with.
Apparently, the line-setters are in that group.
