Pittman fell to the ground and a scary scene ensued.
The Florida medical staff loaded Pittman onto a stretcher and then carted him off of the field. The good news, however, was that Pittman gave a thumbs up as he made his way off of the field.
Pittman was later released from the hospital after everything checked out to be okay.
On the play that Pittman was injured, LSU caught the tipped pass for an interception. That turnover led to the Tigers’ game-winning field goal as they advanced to 5-2 on the season.
The Florida Gators fell to 3-2 and will return to action next weekend against the Missouri Tigers.
