The Giants will send veteran starting pitcher Jake Peavy to the mound to try and take a 2-0 lead. “I got a lot of work ahead of me,” Peavy said, via ESPN.com. “I think we have a good game plan set in place, and it’s just going to come down to executing that and trying to get them to hit some balls at people.”
Lance Lynn will start for the Cardinals in Game 2. Peavy will be on the mound for the Giants as they try to take a 2-0 series lead.
