Just over a week ago, the world was panicking over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots’ performance in a 41-14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. There were even reports suggesting there was tension between Tom Brady and the front office and that the Patriots would be trading the future Hall-of-Famer and three-time Super Bowl Champion sooner rather than later.

Then, Tom Brady and the Patriots destroyed the Cincinnati Bengals 43-17. The Patriots’ signal-caller was excellent, completing 23-of-35 passes for 292 yards with two touchdowns.

This week, Tom Brady has been limited at practice because of an ankle injury and there was even talk that he may not play in the game. Tom Brady did play and wound up having his best game of the season. He went 27-0f-37 for 361 yards with four touchdowns in a 37-22 victory over the Buffalo Bills.

However, according to Tom E. Curran of CSN New England, Tom Brady’s ankle injury is “significant.”

"According to two sources that spoke with Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran, the ankle injury that made Brady questionable to play in Sunday’s game with the Bills was significant and needed a lot of therapy to be ready by the time the Patriots kicked off in Buffalo.Brady rolled his ankle on the foot of one of his offensive linemen during Friday’s practice, and he was listed as a limited participant in the session. He was later deemed “questionable” for Sunday, indicating that there was a 50-50 chance he would play."

It sounds like this could be an injury that bothers Tom Brady throughout the season. With the Patriots so reliant on their star, that could mean trouble.
