The Carolina Panthers have not had the best luck in 2014 when it comes to taking on members of the AFC North, so they will need to put together a strong performance if they want to begin turning things around and avoid another disappointing showing against their non-conference opponents.

Cincinnati enters the game with 3-1 record, while the Panthers are 3-2.
The Bengals main area of focus entering the Week 6 matchup against Carolina is defense — which was lit up by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots a week ago.
While the team was without star linebacker Vontaze Burfict, they realize the entire unit must step up in order to avoid another letdown on the field.
“Anytime you get 43 points on you, that really hurts you,” defensive tackle Domata Peko told the Bengals’ official website, via ESPN.com. “Believe me; we’re going to fix it. That’s the thing we take pride in around here.”
