When Seattle Seahawks defender Bobby Wagner laid a huge hit on Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo, you knew he’d feel it sooner or later.
Later to have been the right option as Romo revealed post-game that he may have suffered a rib injury on the hit.
Tony Romo on his 1Q hit: "My back is fine. My rib cartilage might have something to say about it, but we'll see."

Throughout his career, Tony Romo has proven to be a tough guy. He once lead his team to victory over the San Francisco 49ers with a punctured lung and cracked rib. With that being said, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Romo play through any injury he’d be diagnosed with.
Coming into the season shaking off the rust from a lingering back injury they occurred from last season, it’s going to be interesting to see how Romo physically responds on the field. Will his play be affected? Unlikely, but after receiving a hit of that caliber, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Romo develop ‘happy feet’ in the pocket as he becomes weary of blitzing defenders entering the pocket.
At 5-1, the Dallas Cowboys currently hold the best record in the NFC and are tied with the San Diego Chargers for best record in the NFL.
