The St. Louis Rams’ season was a disaster before it even got started.
In the preseason, they lost quarterback Sam Bradford to a torn ACL and have been going with Austin Davis at quarterback. They entered the Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers with a record of 1-3 but have gotten off to an outstanding start.
They took the opening drive 80 yards on 11 plays, using three different running backs – Zac Stacy, Tre Mason and Benjamin Cunningham – along the way. The drive was capped by a one-yard touchdown run by Benjamin Cunningham to make it 7-0 Rams.
