LeBron James has not made up his mind on whether he will play in the 2016 Olympics.

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has had a very successful international basketball career. The 29-year-old has won two gold medals and one bronze medal with Team USA.

However, it’s quite possible that LeBron’s Team USA days are over. King James told the AP that he remains unsure if he will participate in the 2016 Olympics.

"“I’m undecided,” James said at the club facilities of Flamengo, Brazil’s most popular soccer team, where both teams are practicing. “It’s not until 2016. I got two years. I got a long time.”"

James will be 31 by the time the next Olympic games roll around and it would certainly be understandable if he didn’t participate in an effort to remain well rested throughout the NBA’s offseason. However, LeBron has made it clear over the years that he has loved playing for Team USA and it surely won’t be easy to walk away from international competition.

Still, even if James sits out, the 2016 United States squad will likely have representation from the Cavaliers. Both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love said they wanted to participate in the games.

"Love left no doubt he wants to play again, after winning gold two years ago in London.“Playing for my country has done a lot of things for my career,” he said. “It has afforded me a great opportunity to get better. Wearing the USA across the chest was a great way to feel patriotic. I hope that I have another chance in 2016 to be here.”"

The Cavaliers next take the court Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks at 7 p.m. at the Quicken Loans Arena for preseason action.
