The San Francisco 49ers couldn’t have played much worse in the first half of Monday night’s game at the St. Louis Rams.
The 49ers allowed the Rams to score on each of their first two possessions with a 49ers’ fumble sandwiched in between the two Rams touchdowns.
The 49ers were able to get a Phil Dawson field goal to cut the lead to 14-3 in the second quarter. Then, in the final seconds of the first half, the took over on their own five-yard line. After their first four plays netted them 15 yards, Colin Kaepernick found Brandon Lloyd for an 80-yard touchdown, making it 14-10 at the half.
