The NBA preseason may not mean much to fans but it is important and fun to many.
For fringe roster players, it could be the difference between being on an NBA roster or not.
There are other teams that simply want to get younger players who may be forced into a bigger role this season to gain valuable experience. That is the case for Houston Rockets’ guard Isaiah Canaan. With Jeremy Lin now a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Rockets need production out of Isaiah Canaan. He had a very nice day in the Rockets’ 95-92 victory over the Phoenix Suns Monday night, finishing with 16 points, three assists and three rebounds.
However, the best part of his night may have come after the game. Isaiah Canaan was being interviewed and James Harden came up behind him, dancing and singing Party In the USA.
