Who’s to blame for that? Well, according to the quarterback, the media is at fault.
From Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News:
Smith has made many errors in judgement this season and this is yet another one. Blaming the media is never a good move, especially considering Smith has never shown an ability to be a successful NFL quarterback.
This surely won’t end well for Smith, as these latest comments will subject to even more criticism than he’s already taken.
The Jets drafted Smith with the No. 39 overall pick of the 2013 NFL Draft. The Jets fell to 1-5 on the season Sunday to the Denver Broncos, with Smith throwing an interception returned for a touchdown late in the game.
