After another big-time performance in another big win, this time a 38-23 defeat of the previously second-ranked Auburn Tigers, Mississippi Bulldogs’ quarterback Dak Prescott remains the Heisman Trophy favorite.
However, Prescott’s Heisman Trophy odds actually took a tiny hit because Marcus Mariota led the Oregon Ducks to a blowout win over the UCLA Bruins. He saw his odds increase from 4/1 to 3/1 while Prescott’s went from 2/1 to 9/4. Baylor Bears’ quarterback saw his odds skyrocket after rallying the Bears back from a 21-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat the TCU Horned Frogs 61-58. Next up is Notre Dame Fighting Irish Everett Golson saw a slight increase in his odds after the Irish held off the North Carolina Tar Heels 50-43. Golson will have his chance to move up when the Irish travel to Florida State to take on the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Jameis Winston and the Seminoles.Winston’s odds are up from 22/1 to 20/1 after he lit up the Syracuse Orange.
