The Milwaukee Bucks have been on cloud nine for a few months.
After posting the NBA’s worst record at 17-65 and couldn’t even get the number one overall pick out of it after the Cleveland Cavaliers moved up from nine to one.
Although former Kanasas Jawyhawks’ swingman Andrew Wiggins was viewed by many as the best prospect in the draft, the Bucks got their man anyway with the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft in former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker.
Jabari Parker is from nearby Chicago and even expressed that he wanted to play in Milwaukee. He is considered the most NBA-ready player, is the favorite to win the Rookie of the Year Award and he and Giannis Antetokounmpo could be quite the duo for years to come.
In Tuesday’s 106-100 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jabari Parker had 18 points on seven-of-12 shooting to go with three rebounds, two assists and a steal in 28 minutes. Plus, he had a fantastic dunk where he went around the left side and down the baseline, throwing down a huge dunk.
