The Houston Rockets were in action for a second straight night.

After topping the Phoenix Suns on Monday night, they were in New Orleans to take on the Pelicans on Tuesday night. The Rockets’ fatigue showed right away as the Pelicans took a quick 33-24 lead at the end of the first quarter and cruised to a 117-98 victory.

The star for the Pelicans was unquestionably Anthony Davis. Most expect him to reach another level this year, potentially as an NBA MVP candidate and he certainly looked like he would on Tuesday. Anthony Davis had 26 points on just nine-of-11 shooting, an insanely efficient night. He also eight rebounds, four blocks and a beautiful drunk.

Point guard Jrue Holiday, who finished with 14 points on four-of-seven shooting to go with four assists, two steals and two blocks, hit Anthony Davis with a beautiful pass to set up his dunk.
