It hasn’t been the type of season the LSU Tigers hoped for.
They were defeated at home by the Mississippi State Bulldogs 34-29 and just over a week ago, they were destroyed by the Auburn Tigers 41-7. Although they rebounded with a last-second 30-27 win over the Florida Gators in the Swamp last week, the Tigers are used to being one of the elite teams in college football, not a team that loses two of their first five games. With games against the Alabama Crimson Tide and Ole Miss Rebels still on the schedule, it could wind up being a very disappointing year.
The Tigers, however, have a bright future. Their three true freshman on offense – quarterback Brandon Harris, wide receiver Malachi Dupre and especially running back Leonard Fournette, look like they could be future stars and could give the Tigers a very scary offense in 2015.
On Tuesday night, LSU officially announced their 2015 schedule.
