It appears that Moreno tore his ACL this weekend and will not miss the remainder of the Dolphins season. The team quietly made the announcement on their Twitter account Monday morning, meaning Moreno is done after just one game with the Miami Dolphins this season.

It’s a blow for sure to the Dolphins offense, but it’s one that the team is sort of protected against. They have Lamar Miller as their starter and can always bring back Daniel Thomas to fill in.
But losing Moreno is as much a bummer for him as it is for the team. This is a guy who was on a Super Bowl team in 2013 but couldn’t even beg people to give him a job in the offseason.
As far as we all known, there is nothing shady about Moreno meaning his inability to find a job is peculiar. But no matter who he would be playing for, his torn ACL has ended his 2014 campaign and Moreno is now stuck in a one-year deal that will make it just as hard to find work in 2015 as it was this past spring.
