The Mississippi State Bulldogs have been the talk of the
world.
Earlier in the season they went into Death Valley in Baton Rouge and upset the LSU Tigers 34-29. They followed up by blowing out the Texas A&M Aggies 48-31. On Saturday, they topped both of those wins by taking down the defending SEC Champion Auburn Tigers 38-23. That was enough for both the coaches and the media to make Mississippi State the No. 1 team in the country, jumping the defending champion Florida State Seminoles.
Mississippi State has plenty of tough games left – they’ll have to travel to Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide and will be in Oxford to take on the rival Ole Miss Rebels at the end of the here, but it has been a season to remember. Next season, Mississippi State will be looking to build on their success this season and on Tuesday, they released their 2015 schedule. It is highlighted by an early showdown with LSU.
