Streater wrote the following alongside a photograph of he and his mother:
"“I thank God for the amazing mother he blessed me with. I thought the world was over when I broke my foot but later realized it was a blessing. It allowed me to spend the last days of my mothers life right beside her. Breast cancer may have taken her life, but it will not take away the love she gave, amazing memories, joy, and impact she had on my families lives. I wouldn’t be anything if it wasn’t for my mom. I’ll be strong and promise to live my life in a way that will make you smile. I will never meet someone as amazing as you. Your pain is gone. You whooped cancer! You’re in peace in Heaven. You’re my angel. I love you mom. RIP”"
Streater also posted a message about his mother on Twitter:

Our thoughts are with Streater at this time.
The receiver has nine catches for 84 yards and a touchdown this season. He will remain out until at least Week 11 with a broken foot.
