Todd Gurley was suspended for writing his name down and getting paid for it, but that’s not stopping him from practicing with his teammates.
Georgia running back Todd Gurley was padi to write his name on some stuff and has ended up suspended by the NCAA. No matter how lame the suspension is, Gurley isn’t getting into the politics of it all and is just trying to play football.

In a move that may be misconstrued by some of the more optimistic college fans out there, Gurley returned to practice this week with the Bulldogs. What this means is that he’s staying in playing shape for wen he returns, but what it doesn’t mean is his return will be this weekend.
As noted by Seth Emerson, Gurley practicing means absolutely nothing at all. While at Georgia, A.J. Green was suspended but practiced while doing so.
Reminder: A.J. Green practiced while he was suspended as well.

It’s still encouraging though and if nothing else it’s a display of conditioning for NFL scouts wondering what the running back is up to while serving out his suspension.
Gurley may very well miss the rest of the season, which would be an insanely dumb move for college football, but he’s at least getting practice in when he can.
