Warren Sapp shared some thoughts on the shoplifting incident Joseph Randle was a part of, be warned, he’s a joker.

If you missed it, Cowboys backup running back Joseph Randle, and the owner of a four year $2.349 million contract, was arrested for shoplifting underwear and cologne from a department store. As if that isn’t funny enough on its own, Warren Sapp decided to weigh in for some comical relief of his own.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers lineman, and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, decided to share his big smile in light of such a silly situation. Sapp has been regarded around the NFL as more of a lighthearted and joking individual, so he made sure to share his own takes on the situation Randle finds himself in.

So obviously Sapp was able to crack a few jokes, but considering what took place, you really can’t blame him. As we established earlier, Randle is, or should be, a millionaire. The fact that for some reason he felt the need to steal underwear and cologne valued at roughly $100 is beyond baffling.

I’m sure that the Cowboys will be asking Randle to do some explaining, and that explanation should be comical enough on its own.

It is interesting to note that Sapp took the route of comedy rather than to come down on the running back. He easily could have told him what he did wrong and why, but a betting man would guess that Randle is likely aware of the stupidity.

DeMarco Murray has been running wild for the Cowboys, and he’s likely going to tire at some point this season. Hopefully Randle is more zoned in on the field than he showed he was off of it.
