This offseason, the New York Jets snubbed Darrelle Revis and decided not to bring him back. When they come to New England Thursday night, he has something planned for them.
The New England Patriots and New York Jets are set to play on Thursday Night Football tomorrow night. If the prime time NFL game between two division rivals wasn’t enough of a reason to watch, you may remember that Revis is a former member of the New York Jets. He hasn’t forgotten and he’s ready to show them.

Jason Cole, an NFL Insider for Bleacher Report, has confirmed with multiple sources, that Revis definitely has something up his sleeve for Thursday night.
Darrelle Revis was the 2007 first round pick of the New York Jets, and after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers decided to back away from signing him, he tried to make something work. Despite Rex Ryan wanting to bring him back, the Jets ultimately snubbed the talented corner.
Apparently when Revis met with Bill Belichick and members of the Patriots brass, he let them know upon signing, that he had something special in mind when they faced the Jets, his former team. Cole mentions that upon Revis informing Belichick, a normally reserved personality, a large grin appeared across the coaches’ face.
While Darrelle Revis is no doubt a bold personality in his own right, the distaste for a team that turned its back on his is probably pretty deep.
The Patriots will be celebrating former defensive star, Ty Law, on Thursday night as well. Considering the celebration for Law, the fact that the Jets and Patriots don’t like each other, New York’s season is already in the toilet, and Revis is going to look to rub it in, the story lines should be great.
Make sure that while the game is going on, you are keeping an eye on Revis Island just to make sure you don’t miss the moment.
New York and New England are set to kick off at 8:25 pm ET.
