Here are the top ten available WR on most leagues’ waiver wires heading into week 7:

Week 7 @ Colts. Mohamed Sanu. 1. player. 56. Sanu’s long-term value got a boost on Tuesday when the Bengals placed Marvin Jones on the injured reserve meaning his season is over.  His absence means that Sanu will stay in place as the #2 receiver even when A.J. Green returns.  Until Green’s back, Sanu is the Bengals #1 wide receiver and showed he’s up for the challenge with a big game on Sunday catching ten passes for 120 yards and a touchdown.  He has a touchdown in three of his last four games and should draw heavy targets both in and out of the red zone again this week against the Colts.  Indy’s D is second-best in the league against opposing WR but they haven’t faced great passing offenses and did allow a touchdown and a good game to Andre Johnson on Thursday night of last week.  Sanu is a nice WR2 play this week and now has upside for the rest of the season.. 38.9% owned

31. Another receiver who will get more looks due to injuries in front of him on the depth chart, Odell Beckham Jr. is poised to step in for Victor Cruz and join Reuben Randle as Eli Manning’s receivers in his new West Coast offense.  Beckham is a first round pick from last year with plus speed, but he only has two NFL games on his resume so far.  He is more risky than some of the other names on this list but if he gets Cruz’s targets look for him to be a breakout receiver by the end of the year. This week the Giants take on the red-hot Cowboys who have been very good this season against opposing WR allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing WR including only two touchdowns all season.  I wouldn’t plug Beckham in the starting lineup if you can help it, but he’s worth a stash in his increased role going forward.. 7.9% owned. Week 7 @ Cowboys. Odell Beckham Jr.. 2. player

Andre Holmes. 3. player. 28. In the Raiders re-energized offense under Derek Carr, Holmes has emerged as a big-time weapon especially as a deep threat.  Against San Diego last week, he caught a pair of touchdowns and went for 121 yards on his four catches.  In the last two weeks since Rod Streater’s injury, Holmes has been targeted 20 times and has three touchdowns, nine catches and 195 yards.  This week, Oakland will look to keep it’s home momentum going and hopefully get their first win as they host the Cardinals who allow the second-most fantasy points to opposing WR in the league.  Holmes is a high-upside one-week pickup and looks to be a better play than Beckham this week although long-term Beckham’s upside is higher because he’s in a better offense.. 0.5% owned. Week 7 vs Cardinals

Dee Milliner is out for the rest of the season for the Jets leaving their already thin secondary even more decimated.  LaFell is starting to get more and more involved in the Patriots attack and could be peaking at just the right time as he faces the Jets on Thursday Night Football. Against the Chiefs three weeks ago, LaFell caught six passes for 119 yards and his first New England touchdown, and after a down week against the Bengals he bounced back with a two-touchdown, 97-yard game against Buffalo on Sunday.  With the Jets struggling to defend opposing receivers, LaFell makes a nice pickup especially as he continues to establish his connection with Tom Brady as the Patriots outside threat.. 2.9% owned. Week 7 vs Jets. Brandon LaFell. 4. player. 47

Week 7 @ Bears. Jarvis Landry. 5. player. 59. As a long-term pickup, Landry has a lot of upside as his targets and production continue to grow in the Miami passing attack.  This week he caught his first NFL touchdown while establishing career highs in catches (six), and yards (75).  The rookie from LSU has plenty of upside and has quickly passed Brian Hartline in line for Ryan Tannehill’s passes.  Landry could deelop into a nice weapon opposite Mike Wallace and be a flex consideration in the coming weeks.  He’s not ready for your lineup yet, but the potential makes him worth considering.. 0.5% owned

Week 7 vs Chiefs. Malcom Floyd. 6. player. 13. If you need someone to produce right now as opposed to later in the season, give Malcom Floyd a look as the Chargers host the Chiefs this week who have allowed over 100 yards and a touchdown to opposing wide receivers in every game they’ve played this year.  Floyd has three touchdowns this season and is coming off a big week against the Raiders in which he had 103 yards and a score.  Eddie Royal’s availability is in question for this week’s game and Keenan Allen has struggled, so look for Floyd to keep getting looks as he continues to be a productive part of the Chargers attack.  He’s riskier than Sanu and LaFell, but he has more short-term value if you need someone ready to insert into your lineup. . 4.2% owned

Week 7 vs Texans. Markus Wheaton. 7. player. 55. Wheaton had an interesting game on Sunday.  He led the Steelers in targets which is a good thing but struggled to do anything with those looks catching only four of the dozen passes that came his way.  He’s very involved in the Steelers passing game which means the potential is there, but he often looked to be on a different page of the playbook than Big Ben.  He has the potential to improve, but he should be on your bench if possible until he starts clicking with his QB.. 16.5% owned

87. Another highly-targeted receiver on Sunday was Cotchery who Cam Newton targeted ten times in the Panthers tie with Cincinnati.  When Cotchery has been healthy he’s been the Panthers clear #2 WR and can be used in deep leagues and PPR leagues based on the volume of passes that come his way.. 1.7% owned. Week 7 @ Packers. Jerricho Cotchery. 8. player

player. 49. Adams seems to again have the upper hand in the battle for the Packers third-WR spot as he and Jarrett Boykin battle for playing time.  After just one catch against Minnesota, Adams caught six passes on eight targets while going for a career-high 77 yards against Miami.  The rookie from Fresno State should continue to be the third WR for the Packers and will be a huge asset if either of the Packers top two options go down injured.  Barring injury, he’s a risky play due to his inconsistency, but he’s worth owning in formats where you can afford to hold a lottery ticket on your bench.. 0.9% owned. Week 7 vs Panthers. Davante Adams. 9

48. If you’re looking for an off-the-radar pickup, Murphy fits the bill as he and the Bucs head into their bye week. In the three games Murphy has played, he’s averaged nine targets per game while hauling in touchdowns in each of the last two games and catching 16 passes.  He and Mike Glennon have a good connection and the Bucs have had to throw a lot since they’ve been behind.  Murphy is an option to conisder if you’re league is bereft of options on the waiver wire and you can afford to wait until week eight before you need to plug in your pickup.. 0.3 % owned. Week 7 BYE. Louis Murphy. 10. player
