The team is 1-5 and their play on the field has elicited plenty of laughter from football fans. Now, it’s their activity on Facebook that has everyone laughing.

The Jets were trying to hype up their fanbase for the team’s Thursday night battle against the New England Patriots by posting a video about the two teams’ rivalry. The problem? The Jets couldn’t spell “rivalry” correctly.

Making matters worse for the Jets is the fact that Patriots got in an awesome dig at their expense on Twitter, poking fun of Mark Sanchez’s infamous “butt fumble.”

The Pats, at 4-2, enter the Thursday night game in first place in the AFC East. The Jets are in last place.

Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 8:25 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium. It will be televised on CBS and NFL Network.
