There aren’t too many surprises, but perhaps the most notable inactives are New England players Aaron Dobson and James White. Though the Patriots remain thin at wide receiver, Dobson has been inactive in recent weeks with many believing him to be in coach Bill Belichick’s doghouse.
As for White, there was some belief that he might get a chance at some action with running back Stevan Ridley out for the season. Instead, New England will rely on Shane Vereen, Brandon Bolden and Jonas Gray in the backfield.
The Patriots enter the Thursday night game at 4-2 and will look to win their third straight game. On the other side, the Jets have lost five consecutive games and desperately need a win to have any shot of saving their season.
Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 8:25 p.m. ET. The contest will be aired on CBS and NFL Network.
