Georgia running back Todd Gurley is not likely to be cleared to play this weekend vs Arkansas, according to head coach Mark Richt.

The Georgia Bulldogs are firmly in the driver’s seat to eventually take the SEC East, despite not having star running back Todd Gurley around as he is still suspended indefinitely following the recent investigation into some autographs he may have signed in exchange for money from a memorabilia dealer.
However, there is a chance that he could be reinstated this year if no clear evidence is found that he did anything wrong, meaning that he could be able to return at any given time at this point.
But that given time will probably not be this Saturday for the team’s contest against Arkansas, according to Mark Richt.
On his twitter account Thursday, Richt noted that he will let everyone know when the status of Gurley does change, although he doesn’t see that being this week.
I will try to clear up Todd's status. "We will let you know if his status changes. Not anticipating it to change this week."

Could the Bulldogs defeat Arkansas without the services of Gurley? Sure they can, this was evidenced with their dismantling of Missouri last weekend. But it’s very unlikely they can survive the rest of the slate without him.
