NFC North

Team W L Pct. Pt. Dif GB Odds
Detroit Lions 4 2 .667 34 71.2%
Green Bay Packers 4 2 .667 31 69.6%
Chicago Bears 3 3 .500 -1 1 15.5%
Minnesota Vikings 2 4 .333 -39 2 4.9%

It is interesting that the computers like Detroit more than Green Bay right now, and I doubt few people outside of Detroit would agree. The Lions have a history of being awful, while the Packers have been the class of the division for some time.

The Packers have Aaron Rodgers, but that isn’t enough to make up for the fact that Detroit has better roster talent overall. Besides, the Lions are better than Green Bay where it matters most: in the trenches.

Chicago is only one game back, but the computers don’t give them much of a shot of staying in this race. That loss to Green Bay back in Week 4 seems to be carrying a lot of weight in these predictions at the moment.
